Made it through another week. This week the snow is really starting to melt. We are quickly learning how to drive on the roads that are kinda still ice but also slush. Really trying not to get stuck. Usually the next day, getting to the truck means don’t lift your feet unless you want a potential broken tailbone.
We are starting to get in a rhythm of how each day runs, with internet now. It is gonna take some time since we still want to keep doing things at 9pm since it is light. The more light during the day can mess with your perception of time. Even though Benjamin is usually done with work by 5 we don’t eat till 7. Which doesn’t even feel late so we don’t think twice about it. Summers are going to be a lot of fun just hanging out till the wee hours of the night.
Speaking of hanging out, we have gotten to make a couple friends which we have a blast with. Going home late on a weeknight and then right before Sunday makes the next day interesting. But we enjoy each moment of getting to know some awesome people.
Throughout the week we got packages. But since our mailbox isn’t big they didn’t fit and we get notes to go to the post office. Saturday we learned where the post office is located. Our post office is in the back of the local liquor/convenience store. Not where most are at. We also became adults this week with the purchase of a Costco membership. Might have done it for samples and for the cheap gas prices.
We have really been enjoying life right now. Can’t wait till the snow is all gone and the weather warms up. Lots of exploring to do. See you all next week!
